Weekend with Fairmont!

Hi guys,

In this blog post I share all about my experience with Fairmont Hotels, Jaipur!

We landed in Jaipur on the 21st of March, I absolutely loved the warm welcome, the trumpets, the folk singer, the rose petals…everything!  We entered the hotel with some refreshments and welcome drinks at Anjum, which is a tea lounge and day bar .

We stayed on the gold floor of the hotel, the gold deluxe rooms are decorated  in subtle yet rich hues of gold and royal blue, the rooms are HUGE and get brownie points for the bathrooms  having a bath tub!

We went on to have a scrumptious lunch at Zoya, which is an all day dining restaurant at Fairmont. It has an open kitchen which offers a variety of cuisines from traditional fares such as the fiery Laal Maas, Dal Baati aur Choorma and Maas ke Sule to international favorites such as Pan Asian treats in the form of Nasi Goreng, Thai Red Curry and Jasmine rice.

After lunch, we went to see the entire property of the hotel, it has a big swimming pool, a gym, a spa…you name it!

We spent the rest of the evening getting to know fellow bloggers and had a great time with drinks and starters, followed by dinner at the first ever Indo Persian restaurant in India, Zarin!

Fairmont Jaipur is an ode to the pink city through awe inspiring architecture and decor, inspired by the Mughal dynasty and Royal Rajputs.

The second and the final day began with a visit to the Amer Fort, this magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble, and is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard.

We come back to the hotel, have an amazing buffet lunch and leave for Delhi.

The food and hospitality is the best thing here, the staff is very warm and friendly.

What I absolutely loved about this place, is the location. It’s located on the outskirts of Jaipur, away from the hustle bustle.

The entire hotel has beautiful architecture and it deserves a complete stay of 5 to 7 days to explore the city in its entirety. Here are some pictures that will give you a glance into my stay at the Fairmont Hotel!

Good Vibes to ya’ll!
